null

Fossils

Limestone pebbles of conglomerates contain Devonian, Carboniferous foraminifera, including late Moscovian forms (122).

Age

It is tentatively assigned to the Permian by comparison with the red-colored molasses of the Farish Fm of the S. Nuratau ridge. Previous researchers, considering the suite as a molasse formation, date it to the Moscovian epoch of the Middle Carboniferous (122; Bukharin et al., 1990; Aysanov et al., 1986) or Middle (late Moscovian) - Late Carboniferous (Abduazimova et al., 1993) or conditionally Permian (460).
